Thank you very much indeed for the generous donation that you have made to our campaign – and indeed to all your members who attended the Christmas luncheon and bid so generously in the auction.  Thank you too, John, for nominating us to be co-recipients of the funds raised, we really appreciate your support.

When I started the Brain Tumour Research Campaign, I pledged that 100% of all donations that we receive would go directly to the research projects that we fund, with all administrative costs being sponsored by myself and our other sponsors – so I can promise that this donation will be spent wisely as we try to find better treatments – and ultimately a cure. Although relatively rare, brain tumours are one of the most devastating forms of cancer, with the lowest survival rates – indeed, they kill more children and young adults than any other form of cancer, and yet only 1% of the national cancer research spend goes into brain tumour research. Our campaign aims to redress this unjust balance, and we need all the help we can get!

Thank you sincerely, on behalf of our scientists and clinicians, as well as the brain tumour patients we are trying to help

Warmest regards,
